Pure 360 is a revolutionary company that creates innovative email marketing
solutions. Started by award winning entrepreneur Darren Fell, clients include Innocent Drinks, Levis Europe, and Littlewoods Gaming. The company is amongst the top half dozen in its sector and continues to support sales with an aggressive marketing policy that includes mailings, conferences and exhibitions.
We’ve supported Pure with both leaflets and event specific marketing, helping the business to both maintain its leading edge authority and to increase market share. We always try to maintain the original strength of the simple, pared down brand, using the restricted palette of bright red, black and white to convey the brand’s powerful benefits with honesty and clarity.
This was our first job for Pure, so having studied the brand values, we concluded that whilst all the marketing had to be confident and direct, it should also be differentiated by an engaging, intelligent and entertaining proposition.
The leaflet was needed as a hand-out from their conference stand, so we knew the challenge was threefold: get attention; maintain attention (always difficult at conferences and exhibitions); and create a call to action that worked.
To get attention we adopted a Modernist device and turned all the copy from the horizontal to an angle, this also reinforced the angle of the brand on the exhibition panels. To maintain attention we then included a further change of angle, which acted as an involvement device and kept the reader reading. To create clear calls to action we changed the typo colour and positioned them at the center of the design.
It all worked, Pure loved our thinking and the conference was a great success for them.
For the annual TRD Conference, Pure wanted a fully integrated support programme, from an opening email campaign through ads to leaflets. The Conference was timed to coincide with St Valentine’s day, so the client suggested the hearts theme and we developed it with a very buxom heart graphic that worked for both males and females.
